Each New Day

Big Red
Visual description
A red heavy-duty Ford pickup truck with dual rear wheels is parked diagonally in a mostly empty parking lot. The truck has a black grille guard and chrome side mirrors. A small pile of snow rests along the curb nearby. Behind it stands a large brick building with a covered porch and warm lights glowing inside. Leafless trees and green lampposts frame the scene in the cool, pale light of early morning.
At the start of each new day,
I rise and stretch.
I feel strong,
There’s nothing holding me back,
And I have no fears.
I won’t fall anymore;
I’ll keep moving forward and growing.
Throughout the day,
I’ll break through any obstacles.
I won’t fall anymore;
I’ll reach my highest point.
There are no barriers in my way.
Even when I face thorns and vines,
I break through them.
Pain might linger, but I keep moving.
Frustration might stay, but I keep going.
Sadness might remain, but I keep moving.
Still, I stand tall, no matter what.
With every step I take,
I keep fighting.
As I grow stronger and make progress,
My strength increases.
The past is behind me, and the future looks bright.
I chase my dreams and seek the light.
With a strong heart and a free mind,
I am resilient.
Watch and see.
