Spaghetti
Visual description
A plate of spaghetti topped with a generous layer of meat sauce sits on a wooden table, with a fork placed beside it and a glass of chocolate milk in the background. A laptop is partially visible at the top of the frame.
This is our family's favorite spaghetti. Easy to make and quick too. I've used the same ingredients and the same brands for years now.
Ingredients
- Spaghetti
- Ground beef (1 lb)
- Hunt's tomato sauce (1 can)
- Bertolli extra virgin olive oil (1 tbsp)
- McCormick minced onion (or chopped fresh onion)
- McCormick garlic powder
- McCormick ground oregano
- McCormick basil leaves
- McCormick parsley flakes
- McCormick black pepper
- Kraft Parmesan and Romano cheese
Instructions
Brown the ground beef and onion in a pan over medium heat. Once cooked through, stir in the tomato sauce along with the garlic powder, oregano, basil, parsley, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer while the spaghetti cooks.
Boil the spaghetti with olive oil in a separate pot until tender. Drain and plate the pasta, then spoon the meat sauce over the top. Finish with a sprinkle of Parmesan and Romano cheese.
