Grays in Yellow
For some emotional reasons, this is one of the pieces that stuck with me out of all of Mark Rothko's work. Not my favorite, just an interesting one. Grays in Yellow, painted by Rothko in 1960. Fun fact: the title was assigned by dealer Sidney Janis. Rothko abandoned descriptive titles around 1947....

320 Days
It's been 320 days since my first surgery. Over these ten months I went through two surgeries, six weeks of radiation, and eight weeks of head and neck rehab. The last few weeks have been good ones. No sign of tongue cancer so far. I'm feeling good enough now to get back to posting some fun stuff...
